Media Communication

Media communication is the single most medium of expression today , between people and events. Media mirrors our life. Media has thus acquired a potent power. People even label it as the Fourth Estate.
The advent of Advanced Technology has produced a variety of Print and Audio-Visual forms. This has lead to an information explosion. In the global world in fact, Media plays a vital role, in the dissemination of truth.

This has created an urgent need for Trained Reporters and Media Personnel. To meet the growing demand, a condensed one-yr and a detailed two-yr programme have been designed.

This is the ideal career for you, if you enjoy being innovative, mobile and practical. An extrovert Student does great on location. An introvert girl is ideal for groundwork or to be behind the lens. Those who enjoy writing, excel in Journalism. We hence attempt to train you, in all aspects of the Profession. We are proud to
mention that the Department has numerous visits and lectures by famous and prominent members from the field.
