•The Fees are exactly the same for all Courses.

•All Fees are to be paid by Cash/Bank Draft only.

•Draft should be made in favour of “South Delhi Polytechnic for Women” and payable at Delhi/New Delhi.

•No amount (including fees) shall be refunded by the Polytechnic regardless of whether a student joins/ does not join, after securing admission or discontinues during a term.

•The First Term Fees shall be paid at the time of Admission.

•The Second Term Fees shall be paid on or before 10th September.

•The Third Term Fees shall be paid on or before 10th December.

•The Fourth Term Fees shall be paid on or before 10th February.

•Students are required to keep the Receipts for all Payments made to the Polytechnic and show the same as and when required. For all the Second and Third Year Students, the First Term Fees will be paid by 15th of May, each year. When Students fail to pay the Fees on time, the Polytechnic reserves the right to strike off their Names, from the rolls.

•Polytechnic dues must be paid by the prescribed rules, mentioned above .Defaulters will have to pay a Fine upto ten days, thereafter their Names Shall be struck off the rolls. Re-Admission Fee of Rs. 1000/- will be charged from the Student who want to join after the ten days grace period.

•Fee or any other amount once deposited, will not be refunded. The Office Shall not send any intimation, in this respect.

•All Fees quoted in the Polytechnic Prospectus are related to One Academic Year only.


•Admission to the Polytechnic Courses shall start from Ist March.The last date for submission of forms are 30th June Applications should be made only on the prescribed forms within the prospectus.

•Last of Submission of Forms have been extended Upto ______ 2005.

•Each application shall be accompanied by:(after filling up of relevant forms )

1. Registration fee for Rupees 100/-(By cash/bankdraft only. No postal orders are accepted)

2. One set of attested photostat copies of Certificates and MarkSheets of Examination passed. Originals are not required. In case     of any difficulty in attestation, you may bring along your originals. Our Admission Officers therewith shall on the spot attest     the documents.

3. A self-addressed envelope with Rs. 5/- postal stamp.

4. Four passport size photographs are required.(To be pasted on the Admission Form, Identity Card and two on the Admit Card.      ( Do not staple them.)

5. A Health Certificate duly signed by a Registered Medical Practitioner.

•Admissions are also granted to Under-Educated, Under-Qualified, Widows, Single & Separated Women. These lead to development of professional skills for socio-economic upliftment,of the female populace of our country.

•Drop-outs who have not been able to complete the minimum qualifications are also eligible for Admission to pursue their studies further.(They may have to meet certain parameters.)

•Handicapped & Challenged Students may be given admission, after taking their disability into consideration. (Conditional to keeping all parameters in mind.)

•Foreigners are very eligible for Admission, both in the Hostel & Polytechnic. Please see General Information (Pg.5) for the extra requirements from them.

Note: All fees whether Tuition, Registration, Admission, Examination & /or Hostel etc. are liable to be reviewed and changed without notice.


•Any Student is eligible to do a course if she is female and above fifteen years old.
•Timings and fee structure are same for all courses.
•Forms in Prospectuses are available from the 1st of March, 2005.
•Registration & Admissions are open (Under ordinary circumstances) Upto:30th June, 2005.
•Admissions are subject to availability of seats.
•The Polytechnic shall open for the new session on 26th July, 2005 for New Students & Old Students on 29th July 2005.
•Hostel shall open for new students on 24th July, ’05 & old students on 26th July, ’05
•Polytechnic timings for students are 8:30 to 12:15p.m, Monday to Friday.
•Chartered bus facilities are available from all over Delhi.
•The admission form you submit must be attached with five things.
•Fees have to be deposited four times term-wise within one academic year.
•Career Counselling for Courses are available during Admissions and throughout the year.
•Details of each Department consist of two written pages in Our Prospectus. The first gives general Introduction, Job Prospects, and Curriculum.   The second page gives Subject Details.
